I love them too much, got a thing for original BBS 2 or 3 piece rims so if I had to sell, it would be highly reluctant.

With the Z4M seats moving to the e36, I have installed M6 coupe E63 seats into the touring. At a later stage I will colour match them with the rest of the interior. These are really comfortable and luxurious and feel terrific in my daily driver, glad to have them.

The seats look awesome. :=): How difficult was the install? Was there a lot to mod?

Bolt on, plug and play. Just had to add the fixing point for the end of the seat belt.

Update: Those who saw this thread http://www.bmwfanatics.co.za/showthread.php?tid=79058 will know that I bought another touring for it's black interior. I am almost finished with the swap over, the silver touring now has my grey interior and now my white touring has all black interior.
While swapping out the interior I used the opportunity to fit Axis rear shock reinforcement plates with new shock mounts and new bilstein B6 rear shocks.
At the same time I installed my MB Quart amp and speakers that I had lying brand new in their boxes for several years.







Made my own custom brackets to use factory mounting points.


Interior stripped to remove grey floor carpet, yes the heater box has to come out. :/


Front carpet section done.


Rear section still drying from its wash.

Thank you kindly. She has seen alot of different wheels in the past 6yrs, I have lost track how many.
The black interior has been a major milestone for me as it had been my vision of the perfect touring since day one. White msport e46 330i touring with all black interior was the goal, she feels somewhat complete now...

Hey Gizmo. Did you have any problems with incorporating the occupancy sensor into your E46? Did you need to modify anything to get them to work?

Hey Gizmo. Did you have any problems with incorporating the occupancy sensor into your E46? Did you need to modify anything to get them to work?

I made a seat occupancy fooler circuit to avoid airbag light issues with using the different seats.

Ordered a new cup holder from the agents. Excuse the grey back section, Im not fond of the coin dispenser so its temporary until I come up with my own custom stowage compartment.




Lastly, Im not happy with the location of the rear speakers and plan to move them to the rear doors. I will be customizing the door panels so I picked up some sturdy 6.5" speaker covers to give the speakers maximum protection in their new locations. MB Quart covers weren't going to cut it for me, they had an odd design and wouldn't look good, these DD ones are perfect for the job.

Just been through this entire thread for the first time.

What an absolutely epic build! Really excellent work, and I simply love the OEM+ mantra.

BTW, style 108s are totally the winners!
