And so it began.....
Week one after delivery and the car went straight to forum member NaeemHoosen for some cosmetic upgrades.
After chatting to Zaahier at some length we decided the plan of action for the 120d. Moe from Auto Accessorise and Naeem managed to put me in contact with another forum member 333boy, who had just done a 1m bumper upgrade on his 135 a few months back. I made contact and purchased his 135 coupe Msport front Bumper. Lucky me it easy already Alpine White, so Naeem got down to test fitting and making the necessary adjustments where needed.
Naeem and myself were not really happy with the space at the air ducts on the 135 bumper, so we decided to use some plastic OEM look alike mesh to sit behind the bumper and cover it nicely.

The next step was finding a MSPORT Rear Bumper for e87. I was told they as scarce as hens teeth. I called a few places and couldn't get a hold of one. A few days later one poped up MD house and immediately grabbed it. It had some cracks on the paintwork, so Naeem had his work cut out and prepped the entire bumper from scratch, diffuser included. A new tow hitch cover was ordered, and Naeem got some pdc Holders as well as I wanted to transfer them over. New holes for pdc was drilled into rear bumper as well to accommodate this. We opted to spray the diffuser matt black.
The horrid tow bar just had to be removed, there was no way in hell I was keeping that thing on

.
10 days later, Naeem completed the car and told me it was ready for collection. Having used naeem to look after the 335, I knew the work would be excellent, and the best is knowing his just as ocd as I am. Upon collection I was stumped at great he did and how the car was coming together. However, she still wasn't coming home as yet
I picked her up with my buddy who has a fitment center. 3 months prior to buying the car, RichardH had a set of 135 rims up for sale. Needless to say, being the wheel whore I am, I grabbed those as well and stored them. The guys laughed and joked, " who the he'll buy the rims for a car that he doesn't even have?" , but I had my strategy all planned out 6 months back
Pics of the rims :
I spoke to a few 135 owners from Rennzport to confirm what size tyres they were running, and it seems stock was 215/35/18 up front and 235/30/18 at the rear. The guys said I should opt for 225 and 245 instead. Whilst the car was at naeem , we couldn't source 245 tyres anywhere with a matching set of front tyres. After some snooping around, I found a set of falkens 225 upfront and 255 at the rear. The 255s ended up being cheaper then the quotes I recieved on the 245s.
Friday evening, the car, rims and tyres went through with my buddy and on Saturday morning everything was fitted and delivered later that afternoon. The 120d finally made her home and got taken for the test drive with the family and took blessing from my Mom and family members. The wife was ecstatic, as she wasn't expecting anything much different then from when we purchased.
