I also get 10.5 to 11.

If you are getting 15-20 either something is wrong or you are living dangerously, they really dont use that much fuel.

Nice & clean & nice low mileage. Enjoy the V8! One can truly not complain about this car's consumption, besides, if you have to shell out your heard earned cash for petrol, you may as well enjoy the engine it's fueling!

I really bought the car with not much knowledge of V8's and thus far best driving experience and not bad fuel consumption. BMW did change the Lambda sensors quite recently - they advised that faulty sensors cause havoc with the consumption on these motors.

2 Snags that I will want to sort out soon.....

a) Small intermittent creak from what seems to come from the windscreen on the dash...only got it at 140km/h - felt like the wind and pressure from the exterior was causing this, could be rubber lining going!

b) 2 small scratches on the door that I am hoping touch paint with a clear coat will resolve

After this is done, there is nothing else to do...then the saving will begin for a Dynavin (or similar) replacement and hoping to get rid of the BBS 16's and change up to a 17" or 18" OEM replacement.

Lovely car  . You just have to drive one to know what they are really made of.
With that said, I think it's about time I presented my "black mamba" too.
Watch this space
