The chances are quiet high that somewhere along the line that components have been hurt or stretched beyond their design limits. I am not saying that is a fact, but the chances are high.what your thoughts on this one - https://www.autotrader.co.za/car-fo...&s360=0&so=1&pl=0&pr=3&po=1&pq=0#&gid=1&pid=5
You sir, need a damn good hiding.I would love to comment on the ownership of an m2 competition , but I am in no way experienced enough to, even though I own a 2021 m2c (manual)
I've only driven it 700km over a 4 year period. (I know it defeats the purpose of owning it, enjoyed every km of it)
I did buy speculating that it's value would increase over time, however, when looking at the market and what's being offered for the f87 hasn't reacted to what I expected.
I think that's largely due to the value for money that the g87 brings into the equation.
That being said it brings me joy looking at it in the garage.
in Hindsight, i should have, those rear fenders were 30k a pop back then and now no stock or +80k per side which makes it unfeasibleMan was about to cut up his beautiful 135![]()
Ive seen this one, its probably an animal to drive and value for money however i think the mods are just too serious for my liking as it will compromise it mechanically.what your thoughts on this one - https://www.autotrader.co.za/car-fo...&s360=0&so=1&pl=0&pr=3&po=1&pq=0#&gid=1&pid=5
Agreed. The F87 comp truly is a timeless design IMHO. Proportions, DNA, mix of old/new... and the small 'true M' additions vs. the original
Guilty 🤣You sir, need a damn good hiding.
You already have a very scarce car... As much as car manufacturing bean counters have deemed automatics to be what the masses want, a collector will always pay for a 'pristine' manual M car simply because they are becoming harder to findGuilty 🤣
Should I just drive and enjoy ? Or keep it as it is ?
(I don't want to highjack the thread)
Go take it for a drive now... and dont stop driving it.Guilty 🤣

Mileage is currently at 14xx km and I'm due for motor plan extension in May 26, I'm contemplating , is it worth extending...700kms over 4 years wow! I thought i was bad 😂😂. Whats ur mileage on now? Wont make any difference if you 1000-2000kms a year. Drive it and enjoy! Whats the daily (if i may ask?)
I do know it's a final year productionYou already have a very scarce car... As much as car manufacturing bean counters have deemed automatics to be what the masses want, a collector will always pay for a 'pristine' manual M car simply because they are becoming harder to find
By not driving this car, you're only depriving yourself of the enjoyment and memories and experiences of owning such a car and paying insurance premiums for no real benefit? It's much akin to not having sex with your super model gf/wife because you're saving her for the next guy!
Tomorrow isn't promised to anyone bud... Please go out and enjoy your car and when the time comes to sell once you've had enough, please drop me a pm, i would gladly purchase that car from you 😜
Meneer you are gate keeping these toys!! if you won't drive them show us! I rate with your mileage an extension might be a waste of money since your probably won't utilise any of it.. before mine expired a made up a story on brake shudder when braking at about 180km per. it took bmw 2 days to approve new discs but they did. that was at 32k km...I do know it's a final year production
I have another M car which I thoroughly enjoy. I've done approximately 4000km in the 7 years of ownership
I don't insure them.
That is true, I need to muster up the courage to drive it more often
