F87 M2 Tune log in details

Howsit gents, recently took ownership of a 2016 F87 M2.

Found out by chance the car has a tune and has 4 maps set up. My local tuner advised its probably bootmod3 but will need the log in details or license? In order to configure the maps or see how they're set up.

Previous owner bought the car as is and from a bmw dealership so assuming it was the 1st owner who had it tuned.

Any advise on how to get those log in details/original owner details/tuning shop that worked on the car ?

Interested to know as well how has anyone elses experience been with a tuned OG M2 or bootmod3 🙏 thanks.

I am not sure if @Coisman would be able to help with this or if its personal info?

Alternatively post the car and see if anyone recognises it and can track down the owner?
Thanks, its a 2016, DCT, MPE with downpipe. Prev owner before me picked it up from BMW Midrand so assuming the work was most likely done in GP.

Hi, there's no way to retrieve those login details unless the person who paid for the bootmod3 gives you the details.

The only other way is to buy a new license.

This sounds more like MHD or Ecutek

Is there any tell for what tune could be on the car? It performs really well, haven't dyno'd it yet but will soon to see how the different maps are set and current power.

Do you advise to keep it as is or get a different tune that I know exactly how its set up and reliably? Current one seems to be very reliable as well as the car hasn't had any major issues and sitting at 70k km.

This is more of less what I could get from the various maps (switches using cruise control)

Map 1 - stock, no burbles or pops
Map 2 - slight increase over stock, dct improved/more aggressive, slips more/less traction
Map 3 - loud pops and bangs, flame tune?
Map 4 - all round best, very responsive, pops and bangs but not as aggressive as 3

Logging and doing a power run for each map slot on the dyno will give a better indication
