F30 sideskirt rattle

Hi guys

has anyone else experience the side skirts vibration / rattle on the BMW F30 when the stereo is turned up

Ive noted on other forums its very common with the cars with HK upgrade

its driving me insane ... in UK / US / AUS the dealers take the cars in have sorted this issue but in RSA the dealers have never heard of it

Take it to the dealer and recreate the problem. It doesn't matter if they haven't heard of it. If its happening they must fix it.

I have the hifi sound option and mine does the same.

However its only outside the car so doenst really bug me.

In my opinion it gives the brand a bad name. I mean if you were at the robots next to a new merc and it was rattling you wouldn't think very highly of its build quality

I agree with you, but with the current service I am still experiencing at BMW I am just glad the car has'nt fallen apart at a robot.

So in theory they have lowered my expectations to accept the rattle :rollsmile:
