Good day fanatics, I have a 2015 F30 330D LCI (not for sale) that I have owned since 2018.

Motorplan expired in 2020, spent 23k extending another year to Sept 2021. 95k service cost me 3k at BMW Pietermaritzbirg, and major service and front brake pads at BMW Centurion done in August 2022 cost me 9.5k.

I am currently looking for a trustworthy BMW specialist to take my vehicle to for future maintenance/service items in future preferably within the Centurion/Pretoria/Midrand area or Surrounds.

When I had a E81 and it had ran past the motorplan I actually went and got a service and maintenance plan with Motorhappy which was very reasonable given that I would just take in the car and they would service it. You just take in your car to BMW as normal using the plan. I actually never had a time where I took in the car to BMW and needed to pay anything including for major service. Might be worth exploring. Its on a monthly cost so you will be saving yourself the stress of needed to pay anything upfront.

Hi Kgosi, thank you very much for this, I will look at this option. I did previously consider this option however the plan worked out to R6000 a year and there were a lot of exclusions, but I will check out Motorhappy, thanks alot for the feedback.
