Cornel came to us looking for more power from his E90 320d LCi; We gave him just that! With a custom RKmotion remap, car revs up quicker AND with better fuel economy :=):

Modifications:

That looks awesome! Congrats!

From what I read the gearbox is quite soft so will the gearbox be ok, or did you put in some parameters to somehow preserve the box?

Required tables have been changed to prevent damage to the box :=):

i didn't know the auto box lets you select the gear you pull off on.
I always thought it will default to 1st gear to save the gear box or not stall.:sorry:

looking forward to some TLGP tales now after the map :tiptoe:

Auto boxes normally take off in 1st, well the 6spd ZF but you dont feel it due to the torque convertor not locking up fully, in sport it will go to 1st. In manual mode, you decide, but it normally only goes down to 2nd.

Very impressive. I've pulled something off a youtube vid (credit:Shardik1976) that has some times starting at 80kmh to "x" speed. There is the stock performance and then the performance with M Power kit installed. Now compare those times with a rough estimate of the times for the RK motion video above.

From what I see, I can gather:

80kmh - 200kmh stock : 28.699 secs
80kmh - 200kmh M Power kit: 26.101 secs
80kmh - 200kmh RK motion tune: 25 secs!! (starting counting from 80kmh @ 5secs of the video and ending @ 200kmh on 25 secs...

Dang. That's quick. Would love to see the power gains on a dyno.

And you are comparing the E90 modded to a F30 above with a 8spd box, most probably.

Shiven would be a better comparison for the F30 320d.
