Hi guys,
I am going to post this up very carefully as i do not want to tread on any commercial toes here. Mods please let me know if i overstep any boundaries here...:ty:
I have just purchased an e28 535i that has already had a s36b36 engine transplant completed.
My custom shop will be doing the work on the vehicle as and when we have some free time, and it will be a long term project.
The to do list is rather long on this vehicle and we have not sourced all the relevant comments as yet...
The list:
This is a scary one and is going to eat away at the clock like you wouldn't believe. We are really looking forward to turning this into a beautiful example of a custom e28

The list:
- Tear the body down and complete the work on a respray commissioned.
- Strip, refurb, and retrim the interior (including leather covering the dash) while installing e34 M5 seats.
- Strip down and refurb all suspension, replacing bushings and other ear components as we go
- Source and fit a MTechnic body kit. We are really struggling to get a line on one of these so if anyone low of any please drop us a message.
- Refurb a set of MTechnic M-System 1 alloys (of original e34 M5)
- Repair airconditioner and associated components
- Complete a whole of vehicle systems check and repair all faulty components back to original working condition.
This is a scary one and is going to eat away at the clock like you wouldn't believe. We are really looking forward to turning this into a beautiful example of a custom e28
