This is the end result of influencer culture where youth have no idea how much of the content they consume is not happy-go-lucky shitheads like themselves but multimillion dollar adverts with 'influencers' paid handsomely to act like happy-go-lucky shitheads for that broad appeal.
Movies and TV shows used to have warnings to not try this at home or that stunts were performed by trained professionals... However people consume TikTok, Youtube and Instagram as though the same doesn't apply despite some of these people they are watching having better kit/staff than some full-on production houses.
Then again, these are people who will literally hammer their faces to look like a meme so I doubt that realisation is coming any time soon
