BMWFanatics Race Day 2018!!!:cartel:
With 2 successful race days in the past, it is only fitting that we continue the tradition and give the members a fun, fuel-filled day out coupled with awesome company.
This year we've taken a slightly different approach to the format and we've aimed to cater to the entire community... :smilebounce: This will be our first Race Day with Track and Drag combined!!! So without further ado...
The M.O of the day:
From 8:30 to 12:30 we will be running the track portion of the event. There will be 3 classes:
Dedicated race cars
Experienced drivers and
Novices
Each track racer will have a transponder in their car to record lap times.
The drag portion of the event will be timed, 1/4 mile racing. This will commence at 1:00pm, ending at 4:00pm and we'll be utilizing only the best, TRUVELO Timing equipment to make sure times are accurate down to the millisecond.
Grand stands will be placed along the drag straight to allow spectators the best views of the drag racing and to take it all in.
We've kept pricing extremely low and have also offered combo deals (as stated above) to those who want to participate in both types of racing.
Entries are limited to ONLY 50 slots for drag racing and 30 slots per class for the track event... so be quick with those registrations!
We've booked marshals, medical, fire services and timing services for the day as well as an instructor for the track portion of the event. All the stops have been pulled out to bring you THE best race day yet!
We're aiming to bring in new companies to sponsor and showcase their brands & expertise on the day. So keep a watchful eye on our Instagram, Facebook page & this thread for announcements and to learn more about who will be coming on board! As this promises to be a Race Day to remember! :smilebounce:

Those names that are on the list, but haven't paid as yet, please do payment by month end. If payments are not received the race spots will be opened up again for those who are still asking about them...
