The hofmeister kink is an interesting one - is a loss to see that disappear from the new 4 - besides how horrendous that front bumper is.

Ive been saying this about the G series vehicles though, especially the 3 and 4 series, even the 2 series to a large degree, they ar elooking more like their older competition than they are BMW's.
I don't understand, nor do I like the new Design language BMW is trying. So many elements that just don't gel, and I'm glad a designer agrees.
It's like a few designer were given a brief to design a piece of the car and then they mashed it together and the grills were mistakenly slipped in as a new braai design.

Had a new 3 series drive behind me on the highway. At first I thought it was another car brand, and as it got a little closer I thought it were perhaps a Chevrolet or maybe a Merc. Not until it was right up behind me could I tell it was the new G20. Granted the car was black so most of the noticeable BMW features were hidden. But in my defense, the car did not look like a BMW at all from the front with the new DRL replacing the conventional well known Circular Angel eyes. For us as seasoned BMW fanatics to struggle to recognize a BMW from the front, says a lot. We won't mistake this 4 series though, with a face like that, no one will.
