Recently, I was contacted by a fellow BMW owner who wanted to give his E60 530d some much-needed TLC. The plan was simple: heโd drop the car off with me while he was in JHB, then head down to CPT for a few days, and collect it when he returned.
The work list included:
๐ก๏ธ Initial Prep & Inspection
We began with the usual protective covers (driverโs seat, steering wheel, footwell) to keep everything spotless.
๐ง Brake Fluid Flush
๐ ๏ธ Service & Repairs
โ Swirl Flap Delete
๐ Cabin Filters & Finishing Touches
๐ Final Checks & Result
After reassembly, we performed a full final check:
Owner collected the car upon returning from CPT โ happy and reassured knowing the 530d had been given the proper TLC it deserved ๐
Another happy BMW Fanatic. ๐
