Upade: Today bmw told me that they couldnt find the issue and that the smoke tests showed no leaks. I felt hopeless but then i tried something. So after i had a pcv failure I went to go look at my MAP sensor, it was cooked with oil. Gave it a proper clean with MAF cleaner and put it back in the car and she's back to normal!
I'll keep it in mind! I have been happy with BMW Donford thus far though 👍

Well, some members here already told you not to take it to BMW, but you said you were happy with BMW. A mate of mine has an M4 CS, and his car sat at BMW for almost a month with them changing his spark plugs 3 times, trying to figure out a misfire. I told him to take it to Xflow, and Alister took him less than 5 minutes to find out what the problem was...low coolant.

BMW techs are the replace till fix crowd. A guy like Alister, who does engine upgrades etc, UNDERSTANDS a motor, so he won't just go around replacing everything in an engine to fix an issue.

But from the sounds of it, you are insistent on taking it to BMW. I have a hybrid turbo N55 that has run flawlessly for 25k km done by Xflow and Xcede, with all maintenance work done by them. Not BMW. So have fun with the very expensive service from BMW, which will replace a blown plastic charge pipe with another piece of junk plastic, etc. I would rather stick to the Xflows, Xcedes, 357, etc crowd. To build the cars they do, they actually have to understand the engine.

Wow, i'll probably end up going to him next time. Unfortunately I do not know any good BMW specialists yet as this is my first german car, and BMW has been good with me for a while, but when they couldn't find the issue i was quite shocked, and not only by that, they blamed it on my tune. And as you said about the chargepipe, I have an upgraded vrsf chargepipe luckily. I will go to Xcede next week for them to check everything out. Is Alistar that you mentioned with Xcede?

They will blame a malfunctioned sunroof on your tune, that's just how it is.

You need to start realising that you don't drive to KFC if you crave beef patties. Your car is not stock, so why are you taking it back to people who don't work daily on modified cars?

I gave you Ashley's number, if you need something done or looked at give him a call. He's the only one here by us that I trust so far.

I only took the car there for regular maintenance
I did save his number, going to be taking the car there soon.

I have noticed that my turbo has been getting wastegate rattle, do you think he will be able to help me with that?
