Hahaha, to me thats VIN#80, VIN#67 (If its the BMW SA Museum car) VIN#116, VIN#90, etc etc, I have a register of 30 odd VIN's I have been maintaining for years owner to owner, oddly enough some of the ODO's run backwards :=):

One request to forum members, if anyone comes across a VIN higher than 171 please let me know, the list runs cold after that so I have serious doubts the full 204 complement were even made. Basic statistical theory would surely give at least one high number hit?? (maths gurus please :) ) It would make sense though as the homologation requirement no longer existed in 1987 as the formula it was created for was canned in '86 and BMW SA took up the Shadowline cars in GpN. The original dealer microfische data puts 98 cars for 1985 and no data for after that. Auto Data digest figures are just garbage, unless the numbers were built but the cars went elsewhere!

Cheers

sounds like you've been doing your homework for a long time..

through miscomunication, i just missed out on an aero silver (correct me if thats not the colour name) trip3 a few years ago..

and its funny that you mentioned that thier ODO's run backwards..

Ive posted it before I am sure but here are a few of some old ones

The toolkit is not identical to the 323i, the sponge holder is different, Alpina specific for the wheelkey and wheel lock plug extractor. Some more useless info, the Gedore flat spanners are "Made in RSA" up to 1988 when the factory stopped production of them and they became "Made in Germany" so essentially all Trips should be localised flat ring spanners.

The tiny white one is mine :)

And yes, the windscreen is a bit "weathered" but it still has this

To me, itll never be perfect but its still damn neat! At a trackday, being a Ford sandwich with 2 other SA Classics

So to answer your question I dont have any HQ pics but I'll take some if you need anything specific

Cheers!

I like your car it is looking so good. What you guys say about the graphic work or wrapping on the cars? I think these kind of work make your cars more cool and attractive one. If you want to install such graphic work on your car than what will be your choice.

I will go with greensky

Hello guys, especially 'triplethree'

I found VIN #015 in London, being part of a private collection.

.....and as for late VIN no. Trip3's.....I have no. 175 a Henna red one!!

@serano....the Black trip3 in your post used to belong to a friend of mine (who sadly has sold her last year) the VIN #174, which even made it more sad cause we had two late numbered ones following!!

It's the one in the pic where the edge of the Tarmac was all broken....following another pic on that same day......

.....and the last time the black trip3 was with us
