Picked up the car from Goch and Cooper on Friday and after doing about 400km I think it is safe to say that the oil use has subsided.

Seems I spoke too soon. After the next 600km I had to topup the oil again by 500ml. This puts the total to 4.5 litres over 3600km

I need to try the CCV vacuum mod.

I'd also like to try the 02 pilot mod, even though my oil consumption isn't of a concern, yet.

I wonder sometimes where these sites make their money from, if not from the people uploading the photos.

I would maybe be willing to pay R50 per month for the hosting and linking. Thinking I might just host my own.

Yeah at R50 you may as well host it yourself, some shared hosting providers are cheaper than that. Its a very specialized service

So I finally made a plan with hosting on amazon S3 (Mods - Can I get access to edit all my posts on this thread?) so it's time for a couple updates.

Update #1 - 28th June 2017 - Lower Decat

I had the lower portion on the exhaust decatted with straight pipes. She is still running the dual 44mm 325i exhaust.

After decat I am getting 50 - 80km more on a tank.

Apparently powerflow can't do mandrel bends. And yes, the welding is thanks to powerflow too. It's just temporary until I can afford a dual 50 system and then get rid of the header cats in the process

Ah yes, that's a major problem all over now.

80km per tank increase for just removing the bottom cats? Damn. I assume the same wont be true for a regular 330i which has the default 330i exhaust.

It was Tokai. I'm sure they do a better job if they don't do it in place.
