The M3 is hasnt been getting any attention lately. Since Offset.dxb in April, the car was parked off. Works been too busy, its now proper summer here, 45+ degrees. Real feel is madness!

I did order for the Golf and M3 BFI shift knobs, which were delayed but then the M3 one arrived (still waiting for the Golfs knob to arrive). So i eagerly went to spend some time in the M3 to install it. Ordered it with the leather shift boot cross stitched to match the rest of the interior.

And yes, shes been sitting there from Offset.dxb till this passed Sunday - Took her for a wash and drive. Went to see Tazo and he did a service on the air system - Got a few small connectors to change - its been 3 faultless years with Air on this car! Also, rear shock mount/bearings need to be changed, ordered it. Once its in, the M3 will be advertised to sell - which im going to regret! I want to drive the car more, but its just not practical with a family of 4 and i want a new project! I think its time!!

Took some time off from the busy work pace and decided to destress by doing some car things... Ended up taking off the BC Forged wheels and fitting the M359 wheels to the M3 after getting the air system serviced and the suspension bushes replaced.

BC's getting cleaned

M359s ready to go on - I also installed 15mm front and 12mm rear wheels spacers to give a bit more flush fitment!

Since the last update, the M3 has been sitting at Modern Klassics in Dubai, an international enthusiast car dealer! While there are some bites, there are just too many time wasters, even in the enthusiast markets! Its crazy!

Anyways, i have it with me now cos last week i got a call from a marketing agency who was doing a Motor Festival activation at a very very large mall in Abu Dhabi, Reem Mall. If any of you have been to AD, Al Reem island is a new (sub 5-7 years) and developing area in AD and Reem Mall was opened just about a year ago. Probably as big if not bigger than Yas Mall in Yas Island.

So i got that call and they asked if they could have the M3 on display for a week during this motor fest. The first week was classic cars, second week where the M3 is required is the custom week. I was obviously thrilled and agreed.

Here are some pics!

Of course the M359s were swapped with the BC Forged wheels for the show look:

Outside the mall, waiting to drive in.

On the red carpet!

So... I sold the...

BC Forged wheels!!

No pics, but the M3 is back on the M359s and back with me. I have been driving it a little more. Its due to its annual registration inspection in a few weeks and the tyres need to be replaced as they are 2019 tyres. They have enough life (could pass as new) but as they are 5 years old, they will fail the inspection.

Plans for the M3... Well, since it didn't sell, i might as well enjoy it through the winter. So, once i fit new tyres and get the inspection done i will be driving it more. I have also bought the convertible roof service kit so ill get that done while i'm on leave next week. On the hunt for a new set of wheels too...

Happy New Year!!

New Year! New Mods!!!

I have always enjoyed the balance of intake and exhaust noise and in the V8, intake more than exhaust as the stock exhaust coupled with the Dinan axle back ticked the box for me. Something that was on my mind lately is giving attention to the primary cats - since the car is a 2009, i thought the cats would need to be cleaned out to free up some lost ponies. Through december i contemplated doing a decat or upgrading to some primary cat delete test pipes. Luck had it and a set of Evolve PC delete test pipes became available locally and after hearing many YT videos of what they would sound like i bought them.

Now, my preference is intake and the Macht Schnell intake proves to be satisfying my ears well enough - maybe at a later stage i will upgrade to the Evolve or similar plenum to amplify the intake.

Evolve PC test pipes installed and man oh man, the M3 feels smooth and so much more free! It has definitely freed up some HP on the but dyno. Sounds amazing as well. Its not loud, but deeper and has a bit of a subdued rumble on idle which i love.

AlpineMSS has just sent me an updated tune now to cater for the primary cat delete which i will load on this weekend and hopefully get some time to make a view sound clips, will post on my IG account!

I love the M359's, but its not in our blood to drive OEM! I head it somewhere, your oem is dry? Something to that effect rite @FiRi@Rennzport

Anyways, i introduce you to the Rennzport RZ-07M Deep Concave wheels on my E93 M3.

Blessed to have the good people of Rennzport who facilitated the design, order and shipping to me in the UAE.
Well done ol'chap. Mighty fine work you have done here
