Vandalism strikes!

Thanks guys for the messages, unfortunately I have no idea where it happened because I only noticed it when I got home and I’d been to quite a few places on the day, let’s say it happened in and around Joburg north

Irritation is more the fact that now I’ve had to send the car in, have the PPF removed from the front bumper and redone, which is costly and time consuming. On a side note, I have a 2007 Golf 5 2.0 tsi that I use 3 or 4 times a week and in the 17 years I’ve owned it not once have I ever had someone key it or purposely damage it.

But this happens all the time I guess. Back in 2009 when I was driving an S3, I used to go out on the jol in Boksburg, Presley's to be precise, (before anyone has a go, back then there was nothing more irresistible to an akrikaans meisie than a fresh soatie with a Ed Hardy t-shirt). Every time I’d come out to go home I’d find my car had been spat on worse than a camel having a seizure….in the end I decided it was best for me to bring along a spit cloth and bottle of water to clean my door handle before I went home.

Am I the only weirdo who checks out his car before he drives away? :ROFLMAO: I just can't get in without checking for random damage or making sure the tyres are ok/not obstructed by random shit.

Regarding your VW though, everyone knows that all stains, spit, scratches and damage normally happen inside of them ;)
