Good day Family,

I got a X5 E70 3.0d that i reckoned the turbo but i see the catalytic converter is blocked it has 2850000th km on the clock. Can i just hit it out? And put it back?
Will it cause EML lights?

I have done exactly that on my 2011 3l diesel X3 and have had no EML lights as there are no sensors on my car before or after the cat, which i find really peculiar. Car now has a nice throaty roar on idling and when pulling hard. No droning sounds, nothing at cruising so i can recommend that you do it asap. Did it myself so cost me nothing!

buy the Wynn's Diesel Clean Burn, its burns away carbon +-R200
or the STP product (similar to Wynns) from Makro +-R100 (half the Wynn's quantity).

Does the car actually have 2.85 million kilometers or is it a typo? :fencelook:

I took out the cat was quite simple, then also the oxygen sensor was before the cat so it wont pull up a fault. :smilebounce:
