Sorry to hijack.

Is the software done via the odb port and not a tuning module like the unichip? Have you done any 130i's and what are the gains? +-?

The mapping is done via OBD, and we have done a 130i however the gains depend on which ECU your car has.

This particular 130i had an E46 330i ECU which limited gains, although I could thumb suck potential gains for your car I would prefer not to.

We can however do a trial map for you free of charge if you have any doubts with a dyno session before and after. :thumbs:

130i is a difficult task depending on year and ECU (some 130i have E46 ECU fitted).
Its indeed dependable.

Ok, i will be looking at doing a remap next year. Im scared this year due to warranty?

I would definitely like to have a before and after dyno.

My 130i is an 06 model, not sure if that helps?

Is the e46 ecu difficult to tune or what?

Well lets hope my ecu is the one that gives the best gains lol. my luck it wont be. can bmw detect the software if its been remapped and ghe flashed back to stock? If not we can do the remap sooner. also is the map generic or custom tuned and will i need a remap if doing a decat plus intake mod?

Never generic, always custom to match the car.

de-Cat and freeflow exhaust is recommended but not compulsory
