Question about the masking tape...i see some guys use the blue tape(3m i think) but i see you're using the "normal" tape with this Gti, does it matter what type of masking tape one uses?

The blue tape is not as sticky as the normal one so leaves less resedue

The Scotch tape costs about R30 for 40m whereas I have found a tape which is R8 for 50 metres and it is thicker, sticks better and leaves absolutely no reside even when wet or left in the sun.

As this is a business I tend to sway to the less expensive tape considering it doesnt affect the quality of the final image.

I tried several makes of tape and found this at Checkers Hyper.

Can't remember the name of the brand though.
