The M5C gets gapped badly, that's insane. Imagine what a base would have looked like, crazy.
Even though the best time was 1.6s faster that what the M5C did on that day, all conditions being equal.
Still keen on a blacked out M5C though lol

There was clearly an issue with that particular M5C. 12.7 sec quarter mile makes that obvious. The M5C is a low 11 second car all day long

That M5C was sick! An M340i runs 12 dead in optimal conditions no ways on earth will a M5C run 12.7. The latest videos on the M440i from carwow and that also runs around 12.1! In the video it actually looks like the M5C bogged down

In any case that M5CS is something else, what a machine

Such a pity about the M8 owner paying for increased top end and not getting it!!!

Is it just me, or is everyone else also getting really bored of their content.

When they first started with the drags. I use to watch every episode, from start to finish.

Now, if there is one or 2 that peak my interest I'll skip forward to the drag, see the result and move on.
How many times can someone race down a straight with the same cars. 🥱

Some may get bored yes, point in case I just forward the Video to the start of the drag race. I don't have the patience to watch them talking about specs, rev the cars, do donuts and Matt romancing Yani for 5 minutes.....

They still have a ton of views on all their content, not to mention the comments go into the thousands on these videos, they have the audience and are capitalizing on it!

Agree the content is tired and I am sure that there is a lot of pandering to manufacturers (even though there is the veneer of credibility and independence, Matt is still testing cars 'officially' and plugging Car Wow). He irritates me nearly as much as Shmee... Even Shmee: Look at "my" new 200K GBP car (given to me for free by manufacturer) LOL and people eat it up

You see this trend with every youtuber/influencer/reviewer these days:

OMG this car is amazing
OMG that car we said is brilliant is trash vs the new one
OMG that new one looks stupid vs this special edition
OMG forget that special edition, look at this new thing...

It was not in their interests to show a 'healthy' M5C... but there are just enough clues in the video to keep some kind of credibility (mentioning that the M8 didn't actually have M Driver's package and that the M5C time they "actually" got was 11.1 previously) At the point it is 1.5s off (and consistently not performing), why bother with including it?

If I see Shmee on my youtube feed I immediately click not interested, I think he must be closely related with Achie as well, they both annoy me!!!!

I thought Shmee bought all his cars?? Interesting to see that he is being sponsored at that level (i.e. a whole car)...I appreciate his knowledge of the cars, but agreed, he can be annoying

Yeah true.

M5C is the sweet spot, CS is not worth the extra cash for sure. Got to love a 10s car stock BMW though, mad.
