V8 Bakkie Build/Restoration: Isuzu

This is a customer's Isuzu 300 diesel, which I guess is moving over to the light side for a V8 swap

This has now become a bit of a restoration job, and not just an engine swap

Respray and front suspension overhaul on the cards, among other work.

theres about 40kgs of oil and gunk on that subframe v8 is def the weight saving option lol

The rest of the body spray is being carried out before we move on to finishing the wiring and a few last bits and bobs of the build.

Final update:


This project was finished up after the AutoMC team pulled an all nighter in order to get this project out on time for a very happy customer, finishing up all the finer details. The customer has said it looks even better than a factory job and of course we were incredibly please for that caliber of a compliment :rollsmile:

This is great, I have the older KB280tdi as a daily so really appreciate this.

I am guessing that must have been a good R50k spend? The owner must have been very fond of his Isuzu
