Hi all.
So as part of my garage journey, some will know I have the Ducati now, after moving to the fairest Cape.
I purchased it from Bikeshop Rivonia without seeing or riding the bike, Berto sent videos, photos and anything else I needed. And had the bike delivered to my door.
So here she is, 2016 Ducati Diavel Carbon.
Full Ducati Performance extras, from Billet Grips to Fluid Resevoirs.

Had to do some maintenence On the breather hose that was leaking. So it was a nearly full strip down, but got it done.

Then back on the road for the true purpose...

She is full Carbon, so all panels and fairings are Carbon fibre, and she feels light compared to other Diavels ive ridden.
She is an absolute beast on the road, and so far been worth every penny.
I have an aftermarket warranty, which ive claimed already from for the Fuel Level Sensor which is a common failure.
And also for the Starter/Sprag Clutch failure. All new lightened parts fitted, and she runs well again.
Need a new rear tyre soon, and with a 240 profile, its a big tyre for a bike, only lasts around 4000km, then new one needed.
Last warranty work also included new oil, new coolant and new front Brakes, along with 4 new Spark plugs (V Twin motor with 2 plugs per cylinder. )
Enjoy the pics.
Absolute beaut of a bike! Can only imagine what that extras list looks like. Was hoping you were in GP. Would have loved to see it in person.
Not to jump on the train, but i also got my bike from Bikeshop Rivonia in June 😅 . Walked in for a casual coffee on a Saturday. Had a brief chat with Kyle. Mentioned that i have a Panigale V2 at the moment, but i was getting enticed by the S1K's. He managed to convince me to stick to the Ducati brand. Not only that, he offered to collect my V2 free of charge and list it while he sourced a V4 for me.
I was quite specific because I wanted the 2023/2024 model with low mileage. A tough ask since there aren't a lot of these floating in the market.
Long story short, got a call on Monday to say that they managed to source my exact spec. The deal was done by Wednesday, and Berto facilitated the handover. The level of service from the minute I walked in was beyond exceptional!
Anyway, my 2023 Panigale V4 with 6000kms and a full OEM service history. Bone stock except for the tail tidy.
Put about 700kms since. Managed to source an Arrow slip-on as well as the UpMap device, so the exhaust should be done this weekend.
Got a list of other items to go on soon.
