Have seen a few X3M tuned that is ridicoulisly fast they will eat up an X5M , but my personal choice would be an X5///M, currently driving the E70 , when the time come, will def upgrade to the F85.

Those X3M Comps are in a league of their own with those S58 motors. Perfect weight to power ratio too. If it were within my budget, would have bought one without thinking twice. Maybe I'll trade in this one I'm buying for one in a year or two time depending on prices although what I've went and bought is pretty awesome too.

E70 X5M is still a beautiful car in this day. They aged pretty well too and they still very fast in today's standards. Was the fastest SUV back in its day for sure. My neighbour back home in Durban has a blue one since brand new with an akrapovic exhaust and boy that thing sounds next level every morning when he starts it up.

I have recently been toying with the idea of getting something abit bigger than my f25 X3 and was researching the web on the Porsche cayenne S but the prev gens with 4.1 V8 twin turbo diesel. They seem pack a real punch on paper and build quality etc seems very good. Not too clued what servicing and wear and tear items cost on a car like this and how they are on reliability, but with the power this thing makes - will surely be an entertaining option. Granted the tech is older and the new cayenne has just launched.

This would probably also be a very good option

Cayenne Diesel S, solid car.

A Porsche is any mans dream, the feeling of just driving one hits differently. Would love a Cayenne Turbo eventually

One of the cars I test drove this past weekend was a 30d, but If I'm being honest would prefer an M50d or an M50i. Even drove the X3 M40d and I felt that to be a bit more fun.

But then again, it all comes down to what you want at the end of the day in a car. If you want reliability, good fuel consumption, space and decent power, then the X5 30d is the one to replace your F25

I'm sure the @nabil_m_rs is really trying to hold himself back from giving anything away to us till he gets the car but sadly we all like little kids that keep asking :ARE WE THERE YET ? "

so @nabil_m_rs : Are we there yet ?" :) :) :) :) :)
Almost there bud.

Car is getting its finishing touches done. It had its major service on Monday morning, scratch removal and ceramic was done yesterday.

Car should be ready for collection tomorrow afternoon. And If not, then Friday morning as I have already booked away for the weekend in Knysna and I don't plan on taking my stage 1 RS3 sedan through all of those roads, so I ready need the car no later than then.

X6 M40D not something you would consider? Can get a 2019 with mileage under 20km for a Bar..
Come to think of it, I actually forgot the 40d option even existed in the X5 and X6.

I already finalised my purchase, so I think its safe to say I can't change my mind

I drove a few different SUVs as well and settled on the F85 X5M. My personal experience; this is one of the best cars I have ever driven and will keep it for many many years to come. When you dont want to be a pad-va*k you dont have to and the car drives smooth, and then when you want to, you can, and its monstrous. Its my wife's daily and she absolutely adores it. If I had to make the decision again, I would choose it again. The closest other car to it was the Cayenne Turbo S.

The prices that they going for and what they have to offer is truly matched. Super car performance and the practicality of an SUV, its a win win.

All to be revealed by tomorrow on what I've bought. Many think its an X5M or an M40i X3, but we will see.

Good Morning Guys,

I just received a call from BMW a few minutes ago confirming that the car will be ready for delivery later today around 1pm. I truly I am feeling super excited today as I never thought I'd own a car like this before 30 and its something I've always wanted to achieve before then.

Just to clarify though, in terms of posting pictures, which apps can I use ?

Thanks in advance, the day is finally here

No need for a specific app, on new post click on the "insert image" icon and add pics into your post.

Just over 2 hours into ownership and I am more in love with this car than my girlfriend and RS3 combined.

Thread coming shortly, give a few, I plan on writing a full essay
