We have a love/ hate relationship. I love her to bits, and hate her for all the money I spent on her in the last 6 months.

Just a pity it only lasts for a day or two, especially now during the rainy season.
This weekend already it was looking horrible, but the Golf was due for a wash.

I love a clean car, even if it is a VW.

Love/hate: I made the effort and took my front section (grills, inserts, indicators) apart on Saturday to clean all the bugs that's been forcefed into the little spaces, only to go for a 40km drive on Sunday and have it look the same again... :bawling:

lol... I've got splatted bugs all over the front of my car and on the side mirrors. Looks terrible... :hammerhead:

I had to clean it myself, cause if I hand the car over to the local carscratch, I mean carwash... :mmm:, they would have gotten in there with kitchen scours to get the bugs off...

oh so fesh and clean
Nice looking Jandre. The mags and colour of the car is still one of a kind and goes very well together. I parked next to one with the same colour last week i think and it still makes you look twice.
Question: is that a supercharger under the bonnet? :) up to something hey?

Would love to see some pics of the Golf...pleaze sir...

Nice looking car man. In picture 6, whats that funny red thing at the back?? :):)

I have a question, Why do all E36's look as if the car points sky wards in the front? I recently had my springs replaced (not dropped ones just normal ones) and the gap between the front wheels and arches is big but at the back is almost non existent.

Cheers

Oh that..

Yeah, that's my VW Disappointment 5 GTI. Which incidentally got rear ended this morning by a guy in his Discovery. My neck still hurts. Discovery 1, Golf 0. I need a new bumper, and numberplate, he needs a brush to clean the spec of red paint off his car.

The arches at the back are lower down than the the arches in the front. Even my E30 is like that and it does look a bit funny. Although I think sportpack springs makes it look good... not sure...

EDIT: Sorry to hear Jandre. At least you are OK and you weren't in the E36 when it happend. :mmm:

Unfortunately no 645NM. See my wife has an extremely heavy foot. (Hence the reason for the 318i and not the 328i.)

Not that I wouldn't mind boosting her a little.

Exactly. See picture, mine is like that whether the handbrakes on or not. Must look worse when I am accelerating.

No worries Andrew.

Thx guys. Yeah, we were sitting in Durbanroad traffic, all stationary and all of a sudden I just felt this jolt through the car. Guy behind me in his Disco turn around to talk to his kid in the backseat, and accidentally stepped on the gas.

I too wasn't sitting properly and took a little whiplash, so my neck and back is a bit stiff.
