Update on the issue: got an email from Rene that a meeting will be held at 11.00 am in which my issues will be raised. No feedback as yet, hopefully I hear something tomorrow. Next step will be dealer principal.

Update:

had a short phone call with the service manager. His last comment was: we are talking in circles, so what do I want? My reply: I want nothing, based on the answers I get I will make a decision if I ever will take my car to LEO Haese again or not. I will get an email from the service manager by tomorrow. Let's wait and see what he has to say for himself.

Pathetic , i will never take my car there

Don, I can't believe that Andreas is having this much crap from them.
I've had my cars done there for about 6 years, once only did I have some troubles.
Maybe they were scared I would "Skiet die bliksems!!" :dunno:
and that's why I always were treated good.

Remember coisman, you are a cop, and your car was under motorplan, I have heard a lot of people with older cars complain that the general attitude of the dealers is basically, "get a new car then we will be interested".

I have spoken to one of the mechanics (part replacers) as Leo Hease for advice on how to do something on my car, after that I would never take my car there for fear that, that guy might work on my car.

i would have said i want him to do his job...
i would also link him this discussion so he know how much damage he is doing to his business...

sure they can charge what they want but you just cant be this rude to customers and expect them to come back...

I also normally use their parts department, apart from the usually expensive part prices, my feeling is pretty neutral. Use it only really because it is right on my way home from work.

Update:

Workshop manager has not replied in writing as promised. Very disappointing.

Mr Bodo Donauer of Midrand however did reply and forwarded me a new name who will be in contact with me shortly. Would really like to resolve this issue.

And all I want is some answers to my issues in order to decide if I should go back to Leo Haese in the future or not.

After reading Mr Roelf Strydom's (Director of Peng Investments (Pty) Ltd t/a Leo Haese Pretoria) reply, my decision is not to go back to Leo Haese in future. The complaints raised were not properly adressed, but the unprofessional conduct defended.

I will not recommend Leo Haese in Hatfield to anyone.

End of my comments in this thread
