Update time.... :rollsmile::rollsmile:
The first thing I wanted to do and I think this should come as standard on all M cars, a full black out of all exterior chrome trim and badges. It makes a huge difference to the appearance IMO, more so on a black car!
So I made my way to Get Dipped in Germiston and I have to say they did a fantastic job, results speak for themselves :rollsmile: and there's more to come from them later on :tiptoe: but for now the pics:
Secondly, the problem of wheel gap plagued my 335i, although the lip wouldn't allow, it still bugged me and would have liked a drop. And now the M4 too had big gaps :smashScreen: So I sought to find a solution to this!
Contacted Zaahier from Rennzport and after much discussion, we decided on H&R Sport springs as the best solution, taking into account future plans :rollsmile:
The springs IMO provide just the correct amount of low, so if I wanted, I could maybe run a lip and splitters later :rollsmile:
Early review on the springs: its quite a bit firmer than OEM. Handles the uneven surfaces pretty well, haven't had any touching issues either. However, on really really bumpy roads it feels like the suspension is permanently in M Mode. But I can live with that :grin:
I already had a set of spacers with extended bolts which I purchased from a fellow forum member Firi (thanks bru) for my 335i and didn't use, so I just threw those on too. They're 10mm up front and 15mm rear, although I will need to go bigger up front as the side walls on these Contis are quite round...

Lastly, I decided to do LaminX on the tails & reflectors just to give it the darker cherry red that it should have came with!:rollsmile:
And a few random pics before the Breakfast Run this past Sunday :cartel:
