E90 335D--- +65 bhp/120 Nm

Has this been done here in SA to achieve these numbers? From what i know SA does not have the 335d as yet.

Seem like a good copy and paste of estimated figures to me

I was shocked to learn that there might have been a 335d which I could have bought.

Thank you Mpower3 I feel much better now

If these tunes are based on overseas cars or files are coming from overseas.

Is it safe for our SA cars and our climate?

What happens if i have a base map loaded with minimum mods on and then i decided to later fit lets say exhaust. Will my car need to be re-tuned?

tuning must happen after mods same as any other tune... I will let burgy answer the other questions, but there is normally a good safety margin put in... alot of 'local tuners' are already doing this so its nothing new...

With the stage 1+ and Stage 2 files, we receive the base file, which is already calibrated to our climate and fuel. We then log the car, taking readings such as afr's etc, we also sometimes do a dyno run. All this info is then sent to my technician and he writes the file accordingly. We load the revision file on and log again.

We generally advise the customer to do the hardware mods first, but if a stage 1 file is loaded and the customer then puts exhaust, we do a revision file for the exhaust. It is done the same way as above. It is not necessary to retune the car if small mods are done, generally if a turbo car is tuned and then the customer changes exhaust, we do a revision.

Hope this clears it all up?

Sabertooth: will have an answer for you soon.
