Durban stock.....:mmm:

So in other words:
2.5 Block
2.8 polished crank
2.8 rods
2.8 flat top pistons
2.8 Engineered head
2.8 headers
M coupe 5 speed gearbox
325i Auto diff
Custom clutch
Cowley free flow system
Acs chip
And....

an AirGlaze air freshner :)

Now all you need M3 throttles and an adaptor and you sorted dude ;)
Did you keep your 325i intake? it allows more flow then the 328i 1....

No dyno yet,

I got all the parts from the previous owner as part of the deal when i bought the car as he was busy planning the stroke when i bought the car. i only had to buy Gasket sets and pay for engineering and consumables and that came to R5 100.

if you can ask him how much it would cost someone else to do it... i guessed it would cost about 20k but im just guessing :)

Just spoke to my machy. He said to work on 24 - 25k provided you can get good condition second hand parts.

thanks looks like i was pretty close :) dont think it will be worth it for me because the displacement does not give you much extra when supercharging... i may do something if i decide to up the boost and have to rebuild the engine anyway...

how does this car compare to the vert?

Well it does discredit Durban drivers....so ja it is a touchy subject now just as when it was publicly commented in a magazine a few years back

It would make the vert like it was looking for parking. I'm keen on realistic performance testing if anybody is game.....
