I had the same problem of the rubber coating on the steering wheel peeling. Took it to dealer and they replaced it for me free of charge, car is still under motorplan.:rollsmile:

As you may know, the rubber coating on my Steering wheel insert was peeling... Quite the eye sore and frankly irritated me everytime i got in the car!

A little while back i removed the insert and scrubbed away all the coating to reveal a shiny black surface... not content, decided that it should match the rest of the interior :thumbs:

Here ya go!

All shiny and black...

Taped up the badge

And cut away the excess

Plasti-Dip ready to be let loose

3 Coats and happy with the result! :joy:
