Hey guys, so now that I've purchased a bmw road car I think I can post here without feeling like I'm trying to punt my product! :)

Here is my 1995 328i summer mobile daily drive.

Car is in great condition however the scuttle shake is KILLING ME!

From the research I've done it seems i need the X brace (not sure if mine is fitted with one) and the front strut brace.

Does anyone know of anyone that can make this, or has stock?

Regards and thanks!

looks clean

As for the shaking...is it constant or only at speed? Could be something as simple as tyres.

Now that I think of it, my convertible also felt a bit shaky at first when compared to a sedan.

Welcome

Yeah its defo scuttle shake man, over smooth surfaces its fine, but its like the chassis has got a few separate parts if u know what i mean.

its not BAD per se but I'm used to driving really sharp cars, and although I don't expect this car to perform like those cars, I wanna get the chassis as stiff as possible

Yeah, I wasn't sure but I needed something that i could use to promote the business daily, and something i could enjoy summer...

From another angle!

All the E36 verts had the X brace, so your car should have. A strut brace wont really help with the symptoms you have described.

Start with checking your entire suspension. Maybe some bushes, shocks, mountings may need replacing. Or could be something as simple as balancing that is not right.

I checked under the car and didn't see the X brace :/

As you say they're all supposed to have them, this one only has the big flat sump gaurd :/
