Good Morning Guys,
As the subject says, after doing some research and chatting to fellow racers over the oceans, it look as though the World Record for the fastest RWD 330d is now held by South Africa!!:smilebounce:
The Madness 330d was at Dezzi Raceway this past Saturday, in less than favourable conditions to take part in the Race SA Jhb vs Kzn day. We think the people that did attend could attest to how bad the headwind actually was on Saturday! Nevertheless we went out and did what we do best.
We only managed to do four runs for the day, but three of those runs turned out to be better than the previous record time of 11.135
The best run of the day was a 10.945, with a 60ft of 1.675 and an exit speed of 200.1 km/h. The car was run with full stock interior, nothing stripped and no weight reduction whatsoever. This car was driven from JHB to the track, raced and driven home again with no changes, proving that a family sedan can be a daily as well as a bit of a racer when needed :fencelook:
