@FILV she's been perfect. I'm up to about 7k kms I've put on it, all with the RK file and it's been flawless. Had to replace another tire due to a pothole and I'll tell you, the 275s at the back are $$, but I'm very happy with the Falkens.
I might be looking to sell her soonish to get back into a bakkie, depending on a possible job shift. Should know in the next few weeks.
Thats almost no mileage at all š
This is my first week after taking ownership of mine, so still getting used to it and learning it.
My initial impressions... what a car! It really feels like an evolution of an E90. That safe, solid feel. Mine has 239000km and not a single rattle. What amazing build quality. Its so quiet in fact that i had to stick the soft part of double sided Velcro strips to the seat belt buckle as i could hear them rubbing against the leather of the seat.
Coming from E90's and the Countryman S with jcw suspension, i find it now a but numb as in i cant feel what the front wheels are doing, and its got a slight dead spot just off center. But either than that, wow what a great machine.
Did you go Falkan non run flats, or you stuck with run flats? And yes the fear of having to replace the rears is a real one lol.
Im also impressed and how much Sport mode changes the characteristics of the car. Turns it from a gentle lux cruiser, to an angry brawler.
I haven't driven it fast often due to wanting to be gentle on it due to its age, and i feel it demands respect for the exec it is.
Replacing it with a Bakkie wont be easy, in terms of the refinement you have become accustomed too. Any option so far on the potential replacement?
