So it’s been a while. After having many conversations with Juvan and reading up on some of the forum members experiences, I finally managed to get the car to Xcede last November for the DP and tune. Their service was phenomenal and I highly recommend Juvan and his team. The car is an absolute monster now (for me anyway). My daily fuel consumption hasn’t changed much, but just the day to day driving is amazing now. Sadly it’s now become my wife’s daily but when I do drive it, I’m always left with a massive smile.
We did a trip to DBN in December and, if I recall correctly, I managed about 16km/l with the occasional spirited driving. I’m certain my consumption would have been better seeing as it took us 8 hours to get to the Marianhill toll (considerably better than the 12 hours the previous year).
January, I took it to Tune Tech for a service and glad to say, she is in great health. Once I get to 80k kms (probably July) will take it to ZF for the gearbox service and diff oil change.
Other than that, I have been debating with myself if I should do a dual pipe like the 535d but with the rectangular tips. The downside is I will lose the trunk “bin” on the right side.
