OK...

I will be getting a LOT of slack for not having proper picccchaaas ready. But here`s a glimpse of my latest DIY project.

It started with a wash of my car, removing the Rims and doing some plastidip magic before putting them back on.

The result.....



After some extensive research over the last two months, I decided to take my Plastidip to the next level.

Choosing a colour was quite a mission, I knew I wanted blue, but the shade of blue only really came to me Friday.

So with the Rims back on the car, and all my prepping done....I started.....



First coat....




I do promise to take proper pictures soon, and post them up here.

In the interim, here`s a sneak peek at the final product, taken whilst I was doing the clean-up.

Kobus has seen the almost completed project in flesh, as I still need to finish off by making the mirrors, spoiler lip and diffuser Matte Black. This will all be done hopefully before the Ice Cream run on Friday night.

I have a total of 6 coats on, but may add another for smoothing out the finish...

Think it makes it very unique atm....I like it for now...will see how I feel in a month or two or whatever...

Nice thing is, I can go back any day, or peel and do another colour anytime...and all this for under R2k
