She drives like a dream. Can't even hear the engine at all. Now I can start planning the power upgrades

Awesome! Manual or auto? Had a new-ish 320d auto a month or so ago for a day and it was very impressive and went very very nicely! :inlove:

Are you suppose to run the diesel engine in before driving her hard? I believe the previous owner was an older lady and the car has not had much of a work out?

She is a manual.

Awesome! The auto was pretty well suited for the engine, but I was a little disappointed when I got into the car and saw that it was automatic - would've liked to experience this car with a manual gearbox.

I would say best is to be gentle with her when cold and then let her cool off before turning the engine off - so idle the engine for a while before shutting down, especially on the hotter days or if the car has been driven a bit harder. But other than that, I reckon just like a petrol car, things will loosen up a bit with some sensible and spirited driving, especially if it has been driven in a lazy manner up until now...
