Hey guys
So after being in the driver's seat of my 325i for over 5 years and reading up about all your x35i's and boost it was decided it was time to find a Sunday track car. The search started mid last year and I just couldn't find anything I was too happy with. Ideally I was looking for an E30 however as the search continued I soon realized the highly optimistic market and that there were better options available. I thereafter joint ventures with my brother for funding and we started looking at vehicles in a higher price range. Nearly purchased an M3 E46/ Z4 M Coupe/ CLK 63 AMG(We lost our senses when we saw the condition of this vehicle). We then realized that we idiots and will never get a proper track oriented car that we wouldn't mind writing off. Its funny how every single second hand vehicle we've ever purchased started by searching Gumtree for an E30.
And finally on Sunday we took delivery of our new Subaru WRX STi. The drive was so much more engaging and the to do list was short, thus allowing us to maintain and improve immediately.
The vehicle is a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX STi Hawk Eye
Currently at 40300km on the clock
There is only one spec on these vehicles, Poverty spec but its not a bad place to be
The previous owner has fitted some aftermarket modifications and it was done by NxGen.
We have already sourced some semi slick racing tyres and speedlines for track use.
New improved radiator has also been sourced and we shall fit it this week.
Our main to do item is to forge the engine.
Did a quick photoshoot with my bro's R8 too.
