Been looking for a new daily for a quite a while, and knew I wanted something auto and diesel. Patience paid off and managed to find this 2012 320d auto.

Owned by the same elderly lady since 2014, FSH and in the colour I wanted. I would've loved an M Sport, but ultimately I was always going to choose condition, service history and mileage over a ratty M Sport with a patchy service history.

I don't foresee doing any mods (I say that now) besides an M Sport steering wheel and maybe retrofitting some xenons, but I can't find much info on how straightforward that will be.

Will do some maintenance bits like ZF gearbox service, new timing chain tensioner and power steering flush, and just keep on enjoying it. Must say I am LOVING the fuel consumption too, averaging 4.7L/100km for the 70km I've driven it so far. Very happy with this purchase.

Thank you all! Been driving everywhere this weekend and it keeps impressing me, didn’t ever think I’d be this stoked about a 320d 🤣

You definitely pestering every madala and magogo out there 😅.. Always getting the cleanest rides out there.. enjoy the ride

Patience is key! Just have to wait until the right one pops up, or hear one possibly going up for sale. I spend way too much time on the internet.

Congrats bud, I knew you will find a unicorn!
I have been keeping my eye out for one like this for my dad, and finding them is NOT at all easy.

Enjoy it, very rare find bud!

First thing to do on Saturday morning was to take it to the boys at The Garage in the CBD for a proper clean, much better.

Replaced the cabin filter with an activated charcoal filter and cleaned out the tray, clearly hadn't been done in a while.

Then tried the M Sport wheels I have from the E36. I'm not sold, so these are for sale. Will probably look for a set of Style 193M's or something at some stage.

Then gave all the seats, door panels and steering wheel a proper clean with Autoglym leather cleaner. Has to be done when getting a new car, just to make it your own. The steering wheel was shiny and gross, now back to matte and properly cleaned. The pics of the microfibers were JUST from cleaning the steering wheel

Car now feels more like my own now that its clean and smells less like old lady bum (@TBP88 favourite smell).
That's all for now.

Still smells better than the back seat of your corsa did probably!

I actually like the rims, very "old toppie" spec style.

Also love how "won't do too many mods" has become "looking for this steering wheel, this set of rims" in like 15s.

Congrats, very clean example and an amazing find with that mileage and condition.

I recall @FiRi@Rennzport had some DTM style lights for the E90 and might have an easy xenon upgrade.

Congats! Best Daily out there for sub 160k.

Once you map and downpipe it you will really love it.

Amazing mileage.
