Good Afternoon Everyone!
My 2012 F30 335i with the N55 pwg has been a treat thus far. Unfortunately the only headaches ive had was with the alternator which died at 142 000 kms and ive been having issues with my pulley tensioner. I replaced my pulley tensioner at a local RMI and they fitted an unoriginal part and now its giving noise again after just a month and has quite alot of wobble, which im just going to have it replaced again by bmw. But other than that, the car has been good to me.
My car is on 143 000kms as I'm writing this, and I want to do my rod bearing next year when the car is around 150 000kms preventativly. There for I would like to ask what that would cost me? I'm thinking of having BMW doing it for me, my dealership is really good (BMW Donford Stellenbosch) Anyone here that has done the bearing job at bmw on their N55? I would love to know beforehand. From what I've heard its around 13-18k at bmw but im not sure if that's for an N55.
