All things considered from my car collection and experience the E46M3 especially on smaller roads gives the best driving satisfaction and all round practicality any car ever can. IT just does everything so well. I still stand by my verdict of it being the best all round sports car ever made.
Now a car that surprised me tremendously is the Honda. Full disclosure the one I had was an american import registered in abu dhabi and was actually their ACURA RSX with K20A. Which was over the years converted to a Type R and after the previous owner money shifted it, fitted the K24. With a list of groceries.
Power aside (which was plenty for that 1100kg chassis) around 280hp iirc the chassis was one of the most fun I have ever experienced on track. Including comparing it to M3's
It had a natural tendancy to lift off over steer which you can catch with a dab of throttle, but yes you could 'drift it' into corners. I remember vividly on yas marina circuit especially going into turns 15 16 and 17* was the most fun
