My Ride : N42 4 Banger

I've gone down the N42B20 path and I've move on since then. Only 4 cylinder I'll drive from BMW will be a N20 or a diesel.

The remote will be sourced from direct power. In other words he can basically bridge the live with the remote with a switch in between to shut down the Amp.

Also done this on previous BMW installs.

Because I have an obsessive compulsive disorder and I want to sqeeze everylast free kw out of my car.

Apparently it will improve throttle response but I am yet to do more research on it, also from what I hear it is reversable so if it doesn't work I can put it back.

@Andrew: Your car (M43TU) works with a cable throttle, I don't see how there is any way to increase throttle response whereas the N42 works with a drive by wire system so it should be possible to remap the throttle map.

Ahhh Did not think of that & its easy enough to disable the ASC when I need to pull off quicker anyway

I can only find it for e36's so I think I'll skip this mod... Plus I'm a noob rear wheel driver, might need a lil bit of assistance..

Got the fuel filter from zaleonardz, the car is smoother now. also had the tints done and gave her a wash :rollsmile:
