My new tractor - BMW E90 LCI 320d inside

So I sold my Polo 1.9TDI Sportline, and replaced it with this:

It's an Alpine white 2010 BMW E90 LCI (Facelift) 320d, with M-Sports pack, and sunroof. It also has carbon mirror covers, carbon front splitters, and carbon boot spoiler all in proper carbon fibre from Carbon Sport. The roof has been also been wrapped gloss black, with both the head lights and tail lights wrapped with smoke Lamin-X. The kidney grills are also black instead of the usual chrome. Wheels are 18" BBS, not sure of J and ET size as I haven't had a chance to check yet, but the backs are rolling on 265/35 and the fronts are 225/40.

The car was bought second hand, with 94,000km on the clock. So it has 6000km or 7 months left on the motorplan. This will give me some time to find any problems or items that need replacing, and I'll take it in just before MP plan expires. Although I've already done about 4days/400km so far and have only picked up the one problem, and that is the handbrake isn't up to scratch. They will need to adjust (tighten) it a little for me, but that is something so small. Have also done some research and it seems these motors are pretty bulletproof. :cartel:

Anyway, this thread will be useless without pics, so here they are:

This is her at the dealership:

And some I took at home:

Sorry for the bad quality pics. My phone is acting up. :thumbdo:

She will be my daily so I won't be doing to much to her, here is the mod list:

What has been done already:

- Black kidney grills
- Lamin-x head lights
- Lamin-X tail lights
- Carbon fibre front splitters
- Carbon fibre mirror covers
- Carbon fibre boot spoiler
- 18" BBS rims
- Wrapped black roof

What I still want to do:

- Remove wrap on roof
- LED interior lighting upgrade
- Angel eye, headlight & fog light bulb upgrades
- Wheel change as they aren't exactly my "style"
- Paint rear diffuser black to suit the rest of the theme. The grey isn't doing it or me.
- Full detail
- Coilovers/lowering springs might also be on the cards, depending on how the new wheels will look.
- Full exhaust system c/w cat & dpf delete
- Software remap

So there she is. Thanks for looking.

I can happily say that you assisted me greatly in the other thread, which allowed for a smooth purchase of this car. So thanks for that and the congratulations. :ty:

Well done man... Same spec car as I got, they great cars.

Thanks.

Yes they are great cars, I'm in love.

Now, it's just to get my stance and wheels setup looking as good as yours. New rims are needed ASAP! :blueCry:

Thanks man.

Yeah those wheels are not doing the car justice, are you keeping the 18s or going the 19" route.

Looking for something a little more unique but thanks for the offer anyway. :=):

Just a teaser pic of something I will be picking up over the weekend (Top right one). There are 1 x bonnet, 1 x boot, 1 x steering sheel and 4 x wheels in a set. I will install them over the weekend, along with the removal of the roof wrap.

So this weekend I did a little work on the car. On Saturday morning I removed the roof wrap first.

Didn't take before pics as you can see them at the start of this thread. Some after pics:

A random shot of the engine:

Then I went to fetch my new badges from Hussain who works for Prominetix, and we met in Houghton. On the way there I was amazed at usual with all the pretty Jacaranda's so I stopped to take a few pics. Unfortunately I didn't have a proper camera, but the phone pics aren't too bad:

After I got back from fetching the badges, I began installation. There are 7 badges in total being 1 x bonnet, 1 x boot, 1 x steering wheel and 4 x wheels. I will install the wheel badges to my next set of wheels as these will be gone as soon as I can get some new wheels, probably in the next month or 2. Anyway onto the pics.

I also got some Velcro for the number plates, so I'll do that next weekend. I also might be removing the lamin-x because the install by the previous owner was very average. There are a few bubbles and it wasn't done very well. So I'll take it off to see what it looks like without it, and if I prefer the Lamin-X look then I will revert to it. Loving the car at the moment, it still has that new excited to drive feeling to it. :coolShake:
