Hi All,
Let me start by saying one of my biggest car mistakes was selling my previous e36 323i. Ever since i always wished i could buy it back. The current owner that bought it is on this forum and can confirm i nagged him to sell it back to me. He does not want to let it go.
Last week i decided to look around to see whats on the market as with winter in i found myself driving the 335i to work and not using the gautrain.
Luck will have it i found a beauty of note. It looked exactly like my old one. I had to go and see it. I picked up Rish and Nikhil and off we went to a land that we will not be going to again, vereeniging. It was a long drive but i must admit it was worth it.
So some details on the car:
Build Date: 1998-07-16
E36 323i Motorsport
Manual
Alpine white
220 000km
SPORT SEATS F DRIVER/FRONT PASSENGER
SPORTS LEATHER STEERING WHEEL
M SPORT SUSPENSION
M AERODYNAMICS PACKAGE
INDIVIDUAL ROOF-LINING ANTHRACITE
17"-WHEELS Style 32 narrow/wide
"SPECIAL ENGINE"
I bought the car from a 73 year old man who is now touring the world and has no use for the car.
He has had the car from new. It has full documented service history from motorplan to now and has only been to one BMW dealership its entire life to date.
The car is stock standard except for the double fine grill which he removed as he liked the M3 look more. Sadly he has lost that piece so i will get a new one from BMW.
The car has no spray or touch up work at all.
He fitted brand new Continental tyres front and back as well as new shocks from BMW.
Car has a style 32 spare wheel and he threw in an extra wheel which he kept as a spare in the garage.
The interior is really well taken care of. Just abit dusty from standing for a while. He had a few panels replaced with original BMW leather where it started to crack.
Car has all the books, spare keys (In pouches), the small cards with codes that came when he bought it. Has the full tool kit. He gave me a pcket of goodies that he had in the garage (OEM clips, some spares, a nokia handsfree kit :biglol
I cant really come to terms on how clean this car is. It drives firm with not 1 rattle.
Nikhil tried to find faults with it so we could drop his price a little. After he looked around he could not find anything to mention. That being said i paid the full asking price.
Things to be done:
CCT treatment
a decent exhaust as im sure the cats are blocked by now.
An MP3 player and some decent speakers.
Bootspoiler
Rubber front splitters
Thats about it.
Did not take much pics yet but here she is:
