My Missus changing the brakes on her ///M

So Im sitting with my right arm in a sling due to an injury at work & seeing as my left hand is pretty useless could not do the job for her. Luckily I have a woman who is an equal petrol head as I am & wanted to do the job herself. The bond between driver & car is not complete until you have given some blood working on her & one bashed hand inside the wheel arch later they are united in the power of ///M'ness.

Time for the test drive

Which the whole family went on...

Including Minnie Mouse who had to be buckled up.

Give this man a bells for a well trained woman!! Awesome!! :praise:

There are so many people who I know (men included) that simply cannot even change a wheel, let alone tackle replacement of brake pads and disks etc. I have made sure that my Wife knows how to change a wheel - I'd much rather have her get her hands dirty than be stuck on the side of the road waiting for me to come to the rescue!!

Haha tell me bout it Ive had to rescue one of my mates on the side of the road cause he couldn't change his wheel. By the time I got there the car had fallen off the jack & his thumb was stuck between the wheel & wheel arch. Of course this was the jacks fault. One quick wheel change & a missing thumbnail later & he was back on the road. :nonono:

I believe if you gonna drive a car you should know your way around it even if just the basics. It's ridiculous how poor the average drivers vehicle knowledge is. As you say I don't want my woman sitting on the side of the road waiting 4 rescue. She is also a very good driver (otherwise I would never have given her the M) however you need to be better than good to handle the E36 M3 in particular. Which is why she will be doing track days with the vehicle soon as well (few more lil tlc's needed before she see's the track though) For the same reasons, I dont want her driving a hooligan machine that can turn around & bite you before you can say nice doggy without being competent with the car. Fortune favors the prepared.

love a woman thats not afraid to get her hands dirty..

i had to cut down a lane of pine trees on one of my sites this week past, to make way for foundations to be dug.. so feeling brave, i rented a chainsaw and started cutting down.. my wife thought that it looked like fun and wanted to try.. showed her the ins and outs, and then eventually had to take the chainsaw away from her, did not like the murderous glint in her eyes, and the maniacal smile on her face..

:roflol: :inlove:

you have a keeper there mate..
