Beautiful condition, especially on the inside!!
Looks better than my dad's '08 320D Sportpack!!

I just thought the 6pot would be a bit more nippy at low revs... Maybe she's just been driven lazy. But I dooooooo soooo love that 6 cyclinder sound as she revs up!! raise: And there's just a little hint of M3 as you blip the throttle :thumbs:

Anyways, the theme for the car will be clean and simple.

Mods will be very subtle. Lights, wheels, a little bit of carbon here and there. And that's it.

Any suggestions from your side will be appreciated!

Awesome car!! I personally like the wood trim, but not to everyone's taste. Yep, Ellipsoids finish off the E90 IMHO! Where are you based? Lots of breakfast runs and meets coming along now that Summer is on the way!

It is a manual. Coming back from JHB on Thursday, I kept it in 4th and drove at 5500rpm for abot 5km or so. Thought that might help to burn some carbon off. Car does feel better, the more I drive it!\

I did pick up a 745i on the way back and gave it some stick to see how she performs. The 745i was definately an auto and kept pulling away ever so slightly. I was not too disappointed :=):

I think the big thing is that I was used to my dad's 320D pulling hard with the turbo and tons of torque, but the 325i delivers the power much more smoothly, and before you realize, you're doing 180....

These engines like revs and are in their element when the hammer is down! Technically there shouldn't be any carbon build-up, but letting the engine have a workout for while isn't a bad plan. More a question of burning off any water contamination (condensation) that may have collected in the oil from town driving etc. There will of course be a different characteristic compared to the 320d - less torque at very low revs, but a lot more power at higher revs. The advantage of most diesels is that because they have colossal torque at low revs they are very flexible and provide instantaneous tractability which is most useful in typical daily traffic. But put your 325i in the right gear and rev range, and you'll enjoy pure I6 fun!! :thumbs:

I don't know, maybe just a filter, or exhaust system. As far as I can gather, petrol engines aren't for tuning, unless you go balls to the wall with it.

Would love to get the 6cylinder sound a bit louder, but I've heard so many BM's with bad exhaust systems on, that I'm too scared I'll be disappointed :nonono:
