My E90 320d LCI

Thought that I will make a project threat on my E90 320d LCI.

The day I collected the car in Edenvalle this was the beauty that I saw.

Checked all my bells and whistles except for the xenon lights.





After a 5 hour drive back to Kuruman. So much better than my Fiesta, power wasn't to bad back then, handling was superb as well.





Just wanted to add a bit of myself to the car, so I did the following, M-sport rear spoiler, gloss black diffuser, gloss black mirror covers and gloss black kidneys.











I then decided to add SW to my list.
At first I went to Leon From FR&R Tuning.
My power went up with 17.4wkw and 60nm torque. Car pulled nice and strong.



So I decided to add a 304SS downpipe from Rogue Performance. Amazing work of art from these guys







The spool up can be heard better, the turbo sound is so nice on these diesels. I will see if I can make n video of the sound this weekend.

Before I chanced my tune over to RK Motion, my 0-100km/h time was more or less 6.9sec and 100-200km/h more or less 23sec.

This is after the RK Motion tune.

Really impressed with Keithans Service! Can recommend him to any one! Top guy!

Thanks guys, now to get it on the dyno tomorrow to see how it does.
Not that the fuel consumption bothers me but will be interesting to see how it does today.

Yes that's the colour

I bought the boot lip from S&I Autobodyparts. Really good service from them, top part as well. Fits 100% and the 3m sticky tape sticks proper!

So I had the car dyno'd at Kar yesterday. Will load my sheet later as I'll be on the road again.

My new power in 4th gear:

5th gear:
144.4wkw@3311rpm

Update Time

So seeing as I make a lot more torque now, I needed new rear tyres sooner.
In Kuruman we pay a premium price for everything. I got a quote for two new Bridgestone Potenza RE050 RFT at R8k without alignment. I the city this would have been R6.5k for alles.

So I had to make a call. Elton did not make it much easier with his 403M wheels that was for sale.
It's awesome to be apart of a lekker tuning family. Kyle (Low Flyer)had a look at the wheels for me. Wife wanted to know everything is all good on them. Everything checked out good.
So I made the payment to Elton on friday, what a nice guy, and my father collected them on saturday.

They original 403M style BMW rims with Toyo tyres.

I need spacers now. But need to sort a few other bits on the car first. Want to do my damper pulley, Shocks with springs and gearbox service before year end.

Also sprayed my plastics. They supposed to be gloss black. But i sort them out in december with proper 2k paint. Can spray is shIT! I set the standard very high for myself as this was how my parts normally looked on clients cars. According to me you will never ever get this type of results with can spray and polish. I like deep gloss black parts!
