my e36

Hello I recently was the luckiest kid around "While i say this" based on my dad and mom giving me my first car. It is a e36 1997 318is "class two".. It is all original and proud of having it as my own :excited:

Let me know what you think about it, It has a few minor things I have to fix.

They with these rims, haven't changed a thing since dad got it from bmw.. was looking on respraying them black or dark gray colour

i think they look good just like that, maybe a light tint on the windows to round her off.

Taffs, the badge started to peal off so took it off, and was promised one but waiting for it to arrive?:/ the fogs are out, because the right left one fell out, when my dad hit a speed bump.. but will replace them in due time=)

JpRoux WOW man thats an awesome looking car. I would not change the mags from that color they suit the car very well. I would love to have that car.

Put onto your upgrade list a set of BMW BiXenon headlights, Gizmo on the forum has done a few transplants of these into the E36 and it looks awesome.
And then of course getting the fogs fixed, Maybe fitting some bright LED bulbs into them.

Other than that I would not change a thing :thumbsup:

Of course he first have to find a set of bi-xenon headlights to do the transplant with.

That is a really good looking car, you don't see very many silver e36's or at least I don't. The only thing I would do with the wheels is get some BMW center caps for them, but that is just my opinion.

Great first car, my first was something much more primitive. I would just change out the while centercaps to standards BMW roundels, the Autostyle fake ///M's dont do you any favours there. As for an hood roundel search ebay, you can get OEM ones for under R100, the deal will rush you R650 for the same.
Also when you dad his the but it looks like he wanged out the alignment of the front bumper and kidneys, probably just has to be removed and refitting to get everything straight.

Congrats dude! You are one lucky fellow to "receive" a stunning ride this as your first car. looks like the centre panel housing the kidney grilles has taken a knock as well. Is this an easy fix to just straighten?

Hey Laigo, yea unfortunately i was at gym one day and came out just to find out someone reversed into me.. so yea couldnt do much about that. @ Calypso they stole my front center caps when we were staying in central.. But saving up now to refix the front and get the car resprayed some color.
