Howzit guys, posted a while ago in the new members introduction area, bought the car last year sometime.
It's been a love-hate relationship so far.
Its been fitted with the mtech 1 kit i believe, you guys can correct me if im wrong. Its also my first bmw, was previously more into the VAG scene but always loved a clean E30.
Well anyway i was in the market for a second car, something reliable, sensible, economical and cheap to maintain, that's when I stumbled upon this which I think is the exact opposite :smilebounce:
The car looked good took it for a test drive, went home, and slept on it. Next day during lunch at work I went to look at the car again and decided to buy it. Its an automatic. Drives well. But does have a few issues. Initial plan was to convert it to manual then maybe an engine swop. But as with everything in life, finances currently do not allow. :blueCry:
On to some pics then.
First thing i did after bringing the car home was to fit some Philips diamond vision bulbs for the headlights. Also noticed the rubber ber trim around the windscreen were discolored and fugly too. Looked like this
Wiped them down with some alcohol and with the help of the SO taped off the car and covered with some newspaper and gave it a few coats with black plastidip
And the result
Not too bad i think
Dont have much interior pics. The head unit that came with the car was some sanyo tape deck that didn't even work so threw in my old targa i had laying around just so i had something to listen to for my solo drives to work and back
