I watched a few drag race videos (not the most scientifically run :) ), where the m50 blasted the Macan GTS. Some say the m50 is packing more firepower than advertised....

Thank you very much Ash

I looked at that Frozen Pure Grey Metallic, but the lines gets lost in the dark color and the matt finish doesn't do it for me.

This Gen 3 B58 is something else
I agree bud, this colour shows off the right lines and hips of this car! Noce touch with the bootspoiler and sills!

Now you need to give us a good review of the Gen 3 B58 and its differences from the M340i in terms of power and delivery etc. Would be great to hear from an owner of both especially the new X3.
Wish you many happy miles and smiles ahead!

I completely ignored the decor of your garage btw.
Looks very cool NGL.

Congrats on the new car. Have you launched it yet?
Or are you ONLy launching it? :)

Thanks bud

I have launched it, and it is quick off the line for a big car, it is like a big sleeper, people underestimate it.

The M340i was quicker of the line, but that had JB4 and xHp in

Saw that video, there is another one where the it is pitted against a GLC43 and SQ5 and left them in the dust

I will definitely do that, taking her down to DBN this coming weekend, so will have some more feel for it when I return next week, but must say the gen 3 is something else, think in the M340i that is lighter it will be killer, saw on Burger Motorsport that the Gen 3 boost up to 30psi compared to 24psi in the gen 2

I see there are large exposed air intakes on the lower grille. Will you consider a mesh to protect the radiator. Noting that the N3 to DBN has a lot of road debris...

The actual slats in the grill open and close if i am not mistaken, so at highway speeds i assume it would be closed hence no high speed debris to fcuk up your radiators.

congrats and very very nice, the only thing that would annoy my ocd is the different bezel sizes on the main cluster and centre screen. It would drive me nuts.

Update @Konic on ownership and driving experience so far?
Hey Bud

Al I can say is amazing, there is not one thing I can fault this car on.

Went it on a long dirt road and she took it in her stride, long road trips seems short, it is just very comfortable to drive.

So much so I do not think I will ever go back to sedan.

it is just a nice place to be, be it traffic or just to the local shop, I have not driven her in eco so can't comment there but in personal mode, I get over 500km on a tank and that is city driving, my M340i I got 350km max on a tank, the tank is a bit bigger, but my refuel is about the same amount that I filled in the M340i.

Sports mode just activate the beast, stronger gear shifts, almost feels like it all of a sudden has xHp installed, and the adaptive suspension is still not that hard that you can't drive it like that daily.

I drive it like a M340i, she takes corners like a sports car and not a lot of body roll that you would expect from a SUV, do not know how the 20d and 30e is but the M50 is just a killer of a car.

So far this is the only car I had that I am not thinking of upgrading and will drive the term, but then again the X5 M60 G65 is launching next year, and that would be a game changer.
